For the first time ever, Buzztime will hold a version of its popular “Smartest Bar” contest for attendees at the 2016 Nightclub & Bar Show. Buzztime’s Smartest Bar - when held nationally - prompts repeat visits and fosters patron camaraderie that helps build venue loyalty. The promotion will gather trivia enthusiasts to compete for prizes and the title of Buzztime’s Smartest Bar.

In past decades most customers would go to a bar, order their regular and maybe snack on some salty peanuts or crunchy potato chips. With the innovation of new technology, equipment and ingredients, the bar food scene has become more sophisticated in past years. Although there will always be new trends in the food industry, it is important not to forget about the basics: sometimes old is new. Learn how to modify an old basic recipe or idea and generate it into a new and improved alternative by using tools such as seasonality, ingredient selection, and location.
