- VIBE Conference: March 9-10 returns to the Venetian/Palazzo Hotel
Registration check-in takes place on Monday & Tuesday March 7-8. VIBE 2011 kicks off on Tuesday evening, March 8 with THE VIBE EXPERIENCE Party and runs through Thursday, March 10 at 1 p.m.
- Program Update : VIBE 2011 Taking Shape
We’re proud to announce that Sally Smith, CEO, President, and Director of Buffalo Wild Wings will be the Industry Keynote Speaker at the 2011 VIBE Conference. Smith joined the chain in 1994 and was named to her current post in 1996. Since then, she has grown the Buffalo Wild Wings to more than 600 company-owned and franchised locations in 41 states, keeping the wings-and-beer concept going strong through the recession. We look forward to her sharing her insights on growth in a tough environment. Sally Smith is also the 2011 Chairperson of the National Restaurant Association (NRA)
- The 2011 agenda: General session and program topics are well underway, potential speakers/presenters are being selected at this time. The VIBE Advisory Council is working in consort with the VIBE Management team to ensure that all subjects are on target and on-trend with the needs of the on-premise segment and provide valuable take-aways for all attendees.
- VIBE Vista Awards: Fourteen chain companies will be honored with a 2011 VIBE Vista Award to recognize excellence in the development and execution of beverage programs and events in two distinct segments; Chain and Multi-Concept restaurants and Hotels, Cruise Lines and Casinos. A panel of industry experts and non-participating operators will judge the awards against specific set of criteria (soon to be listed on the VIBE 2011 website). All VIBE Vista Awards will be presented during the VIBE Conference, March 9-10, at the Venetian/Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas. Stay tuned-sponsorship opportunities will be arriving soon.
- VIBE Vista Supplier Awards: New for VIBE 2011, Supplier companies will be honored and recognized for their service and dedication to the beverage industry. A panel consisting of The VIBE Advisory Council and additional operator companies throughout the industry will judge the awards using a specific set of criteria. All VIBE Vista Supplier Awards will be presented during the VIBE Conference. Stay tuned for more information.
